The purpose of this invention is to assist in the installation and removal of halogen light bulbs. The halogen bulb manufacturers state that the bulb life will be shortened by contact with the skin and the fixtures containing these bulbs, in most cases, do not afford enough room along the sides for one to get their fingers around the perimeter of the bulb. Removal of the bulbs after they are burnt out removes the skin contact issue from the equation, but the access problem still persists. Removing burnt out bulbs before they have cooled could lead to burns to the skin, this tool will alleviate that threat. A prototype model has been developed and used for testing its functionality. It performed well in all cases.
