PURPOSE: An RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) reader, an RFID tag, and a method of reading the RFID tag are provided to identify and read a tag more rapidly and reduce the signaling between the reader and the tag in order to reduce power consumption. CONSTITUTION: An RFID(Radio Frequency ID) reader receives an ID from plural RFID tags, and estimates the number of the tags which transmit collided IDs when the received IDs collide each other(S150). If the number of the collided tags is below a certain value, identification is performed in a slotted ALOHA mode for the tags(S170). IF the number of the collided tags is larger than the certain value, the ID is received form the some tags again. |
