PURPOSE: A compass with a support pin structure of a ballpoint pen is provided to ensure safety for users. CONSTITUTION: A compass comprises: a head part(50) having rotation handle at the upper portion; a central pole(20) wherein one end is hinge-coupled with a head part and the other end has a rotation supporting pin; and a rotation pole(30) wherein one end is fixed with the head part and the other end has a writing tool. The central pole has: a body portion with first(21) and second(22) grooves at the upper portion and separates the upper potion and lower portion; a central body having a rotation supporting pin(24) at the lower end; a spring which is inserted to the lower end of the central body and pushes the central body; and a push button(10) having first and second protrusions.
