<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling vehicle for moving an occupant mounting unit so as to be balanced with an inertia force or a centrifugal force applied to the occupant mounting unit. <P>SOLUTION: The traveling vehicle comprises a vehicle body 2, wheels 5 which are rotatably supported by the vehicle body 2 and arranged on one axis, and an occupant mounting unit 3 which is supported by the vehicle body 2 to mount occupants; and further comprises a vehicle body posture detection means for detecting the posture of the vehicle body 2, and a vehicle body posture control means for controlling the posture of the vehicle body detected by the vehicle body posture detection means.
