The conveying device (1) has several movable transport units (4) for transporting a container (10), by connecting to a drive unit. A track movable transport component (6) and an opposite movable recording device (8) are arranged for receiving the container. The container is aligned by the recording device while moving the transport unit on the recording devices by the application of force. An independent claim is included for method for conveying container.
