In this, invention a game of soccer (as it is called in North America and football in the rest of the world) is replicated in miniature form on a table top or other hard surface using twenty two playing pieces, each playing piece mounted on a weighted convex base, together with a small flat, slightly thick disc as the " ball". Specially designed goal posts, a round disc the size of a 25 cent coin , a measuring rod and a playing "face marked out on a soft green cloth are also used. By the skilful manual manipulation of the 22 playing pieces, players are able to move the PPS and manipulate them to kick the ball, either along the surface of the playing field, or in the air. All the action and skills of real soccer are re-produced in miniature form. The goal keeper, besides being able to kick the ball, can be moved anywhere between the goal posts, either vertically from left to right or right to left, or horizontally upwards and downwards into the air space in the goal, so as to save ground or air kicks.
