The button (1) has a rod (6) integrated with a head (2), and transmitting force to an inner side of a timepiece case. The rod co-operates with an elastic element (24) i.e. spiral curved flat spring, after a first partial stroke, for defining a trigger level with reference to the force, beyond which the button realizes a second partial stroke above the trigger level. The elastic element applies stress having a radial component on the rod when the button is actuated, for defining the trigger level. A cylindrical rod portion (9) is arranged in contact with the elastic element through a ball (22).
