The invention relates to a safety clutch with balls meant to transmit the moment of torsion and the moment of rotation between two coaxial consecutive elements of a linkage, but also to limit the transmitted torsion moment, in case of occurrence of some overloads during operation. According to the invention, the clutch comprises two semi-clutches (1 and 2), some active circular-shaped rabbets, carried out on some cylindrical rollers (3), a circular channel carried out on the second semi-clutch (2) with a role of guiding some balls (4) disposed, on the one hand, in the active rabbets of the second semi-clutch (2), and on the other hand, in some frusto-conical orifices of some taps (5) pressed by some cylindrical compression springs (6) whose force is adjusted by means of some screwed stoppers (7), during the unclutching process, the balls (4) pass over the rollers (3), reaching on the rolling circular channel, the second semi-clutch (2) rotating in relation to the first semi-clutch (1) by means of some bearings (8) mounted on them, playing the role of axially centering the two semi-clutches (1 and 2) by means of an end flange (9). |
