METHOD FOR PURIFYING GRAPHENE POWDERS

PURPOSE: A method for refining graphene powder is provided to effectively eliminate magnetic impurities mixed with the graphene powder in a graphene powder preparing process by dispersing the graphene powder in an organic solvent and using a magnet. CONSTITUTION: A method for refining graphene powder includes the following: graphite materials are ball-milled to form graphene powder(1); the graphene powder is dispersed in an organic solvent to form suspension(3); and the suspension is stirred to separate magnetic impurities(2) using a magnet(4). The graphite materials are spirally grown graphitic materials. The size of the graphene powder is lower than or equal to 100nm. The organic solvent is alcohol, acetone, DMF, or toluene. The dispersing and stirring processes are implemented based on ultrasound wave-based treatment.
