PURPOSE: A solenoid valve is provided to prevent leak since when remaining air is discharged after using an electrical rice cooker, foreign materials are deposited on the body of a solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve comprises a body(1), a diaphragm(12), a coil assembly(14), a movable core(10), a core guide(13), and a diaphragm seat(12-1). A lower part(5) is closer to the body than a upper part from the diaphragm, and the lower part is connected to the upper part without height difference by an intermediate connecting unit. A sidewall is connected to the intermediate connecting unit by a slope to form a sidewall connecting unit. The intermediate connecting unit is connected to an outlet(3) without height difference. A discharge cap(30) is formed as a separate part to be communicated with the outlet.
