The invention relates to a solar heater for producing domestic hot water, meant to be used during the summer season in any individual dwelling, even in those lacking other forms of energy. According to the invention, the heater consists of a vertical conical container (1) which is externally provided with a heat insulating layer and a metal sheet jacket over which there is spirally wound a heating circuit (2) made of a pipe which connects a fixed shaft (3), wherethrough the cold water can get in and the hot water can get out, to a discharge cover (5) wherein there are a temperature-controlled valve (6) and a blow valve (7), at the bottom part there being located a disc (8) for rotating the conical container (1) by means of some driving rods (9) which, due to some springs (10), rest on some pins (11) and can be step-by-step pushed by an assembly of opposing pistons (12 and 18) which slide back and forth due to the dilatation of two liquids of the same nature put in two cylinders (14 and 16) which can receive solar radiation in counter-time, by means of a screen (15) provided with two rows of staggered slots, the pistons (12 and 18) being capable of coming out from or retracting into some bodies (13 and 17) connected, by means of some pipes, with the cylinders (14 and 16) containing the dilating liquid.
