PURPOSE: An air filling type water gate is provided to control the flow of water by injecting or discharging air into/from an intake tube. CONSTITUTION: An air filling type water gate is composed as follows. Reverse U shaped intake tubes(20,21,22,23,24) are installed in an intake tower(100) in multi-stages. Screens(40,41,42,43,44) cover the inlets of the intake tubes. Water gates(50), vertically moved inside the intake tower, open and close the outlets of the intake tubes. Air pipes, high-pressure air flows in/out, are installed on the upward protruded parts of the intake tubes. |
