PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling a dual stack module for low power consumption is provided to greatly reduce resource usage and power consumption by activating only one of an IPv4 module or an IPv6 module as necessary. CONSTITUTION: A dual stack module control device(100) includes an IP address version determining unit(110) and an internet protocol stack controller(120). A dual stack processing unit(10) includes an application module(11), an IP address control module(12), an IPv4 address calibration module(13), and an IPv6 address setting module(14). The dual stack processing unit includes a first TCP/UDP stack process module(15a), a second TCP/UDP stack process module(15b), and an IPv4 stack process module(16a). The dual stack processing unit includes an IPv6 stack process module(16b), an IPv4 packet preprocessing module(17a), an IPv6 packet preprocessing module(17b), and an Ethernet processing module(18).
