PURPOSE: A magnetized transition rate image processing method and an apparatus thereof are provided to improve quantitative diagnosis by providing histogram information and multi-plane reorganized images. CONSTITUTION: An image acquisition part(201) receives magnetic resonance image data. A magnetized transition rate image generation part(204) generates a magnetized transition rate image. A histogram equalization process is performed as a pre-process operation. A color image is generated with respect to the magnetized transition rate image. An orthogonal plane image is generated.
