A high-speed train consists of two identical traction sections each of which contains a set of electric traction equipment. Each set of electric traction equipment is distributed over three cars of traction group, which consists of a head motor car, an intermediate slave car, in which a traction transformer is installed, and one more motor car with a traction converter. The head motor cars are free of current collectors and are placed at the edges of the train, which is supplemented by at least two additional slave cars. |
