PURPOSE: A corrugation removal method and a device of a PE(polyethylene) lining repair water pipe by PE welding are provided to weld a lining repairing plate after a corrugated part is removed. CONSTITUTION: A corrugation removal method is as follows. A corrugated portion(111) of a aged water pipe is cut(510). An PE repairing plate(121) is attached(520). The PE repairing plate is fixed to a repair part of a water pipe using an expansion clamping band. The PE repairing plate, fixed to the repair part and a junction(122), contacting a lining, are heated by a preheating part of a preheating PE welder as a semi-liquid state. A PE welding wire is inserted in the welding fluid feed port of the preheat polyethylene welding machine(550). A projected weld bead is cut.
