REMOTE REPAIR SYSTEM AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A remote maintenance system is provided to improve the convenience of a user by automatically repairing a portable terminal according to a treatment method. CONSTITUTION: A network element(200) transmits the malfunction information of a portable terminal(100). A remote repairing server(300) transmits failure causes and treatment method corresponding to the malfunction information to the portable terminal. When the portable terminal is communicated with the network element, the portable terminal receives the treatment method from the remote repairing server. The portable terminal repairs failure in the portable terminal according to the treatment method.
