PURPOSE: A double mechanical seal is provided to achieve the stable transfer of torque and prevent water leak by transferring the torque of a motor shaft to a seal face through a rotary housing with a recess on the seal face and a protrusion of the rotary housing. CONSTITUTION: A double mechanical seal comprises a pair of stator units, and a rotor unit. The stator units are respectively fixed to the case(1) of an impeller and a motor(3) and comprise a sheet with a perturbating surface, and a sealing member for sealing the case. The rotor unit comprises a color, a rotary housing, a plurality of springs, a pair of retainers, and a pair of seal faces. The color is fixed to the motor shaft. The rotary housing is fixed to the outer circumferential surface of the collar. The spring is installed in a through hole formed on the collar in the length direction of the motor shaft. |
