MICROSPHERES WITH IMPROVED BIOAVAILABILITY CONTAINING POORLY WATER-SOLUBLE DRUGS, AND METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME

PURPOSE: An insoluble drug-containing microsphere with improved bioavailability and a method for preparing the same are provided. CONSTITUTION: An insoluble drug-containing microsphere contains water soluble polymer carrier and insoluble drug. The water soluble polymer carrier includes hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose(HPMC), polyethylene glycol(PEG), polyvinyl pyrrolidone(PVP), or cellulose polymers. An oral formulation contains the insoluble drug-containing microsphere. A method for preparing the microsphere comprises: a step of dissolving the water soluble polymer carrier and insoluble drug in water and organic solvent to prepare a mixture solution; and a step of spraying the mixture solution.
