PURPOSE: A smart device is provided to departmentalize power rates by successively comparing first and second power rates with standard rates. CONSTITUTION: A first interface unit receives first power information for power supplied by a system power source. A second interface unit receives second power information based on the available power quantity usage of a sub power source within home. A smart control unit(41a) selectively executes a first driving mode or a second driving mode according to a comparing result between the second power information or the first power information and standard power information.
