PURPOSE: An engine cover mounting structure detachable from an engine is provided to prevent an engine cover from being completely separated from an engine when the engine is inspected. CONSTITUTION: An engine cover mounting structure detachable from an engine comprises an engine(32), an engine cover(31), a mounting member(33), and an insulator member(34). The engine cover covers the top of the engine. The mounting member is protruded from the side of the engine. The insulator member is formed in the engine cover to accept the mounting member when the engine cover is installed in the engine.
