BOOSTER TURBO-PUMP

A booster turbo-pump includes a body with semi-spiral supply and spiral drain, it has legs and is fixed with pins with end covers with formation of vertical split planes, an impeller with double-sided inlet installed on the shaft that rests on radial slide bearings, a support bearing, mechanical seals of end type as end shaft seals. Additionally it is provided with thermo-barrier elements. Hydrodynamic grates of the impeller blades are displaced one with respect to another by half-pitch. The support surfaces of the body legs are arranged in horizontal plane that goes through the axis of the turbo-pump.
