PURPOSE: A control method for a cooking appliance is provided to control the internal temperature of a cooking chamber by determining the operation time of a heating source. CONSTITUTION: A control method for a cooking appliance is as follows. A food drying function is selected(S100). When the food drying function is selected, a target temperature for drying food and the continuous operation time of one or more heating sources are loaded. The heating sources are operated during the continuous operation time(S200). After the continuous operation time, the heating sources maintain the internal temperature of a cooking chamber.
