PURPOSE: A portable navigation terminal for bicycle, a control method thereof and a bicycle antitheft system using the same are provided to improve the operation time of battery and to reduce energy consumption using a power saving mode. CONSTITUTION: A portable navigation terminal for bicycle comprises a power supply part(110), a function provider(120), a moving detection sensor(130), a navigation engine(140) and a controller(170). The power supply part supplies DC power source. The function provider offers all kinds of functions. The moving detection sensor senses the movement and stop of bicycle in real time. The navigation engine receives the location information of navigation terminal from a global navigational satellite system and outputs. The controller controls the power provided to the function provider by determining whether a bicycle is moved or stopped. An RFID reader(150) transmitting RFID tag information storing an identification code of the corresponding bicycle is attached to the bicycle. A wireless communications module(160) implements the mobile network by using the wireless local area network. |
