FUEL CHILLER UNIT FOR SHIP

PURPOSE: A fuel cooler for a ship is provided to increase the viscosity of fuel for a ship by cooling the fuel without environmental contamination and remove concern about mixing of HFC refrigerant with fuel using water as working fluid for cooling the fuel. CONSTITUTION: A fuel cooler for a ship comprises a fuel storage(102), an absorbing refrigerating unit(200), a heat supply unit, and a heat exchange unit. The absorbing refrigerating unit comprises an evaporator, an absorber, a regenerator, and a condenser. The evaporator cools working fluid to cool fuel for a ship using latent heat of vaporization of refrigerant. The absorber holds absorbing liquid absorbing the refrigerant evaporated. The regenerator heats and regenerates the absorbing liquid of the absorber. The heat supply unit supplies heat to the regenerator of the absorbing refrigerating unit.
