PURPOSE: A controller of an air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to reduce an installation space and downsize a controller by performing three kinds of functions on the coaxial shaft. CONSTITUTION: A controller for an air conditioner for a vehicle comprises an electrical type switch(116), a mechanical type switch(600), a first dial knob(200), a second dial knob(300), and a connection member(370). The electrical type switch is installed in a front side of a circuit board(110). The mechanical type switch is installed in a back side of the circuit board. The first dial knob is rotatably installed in the front side of the circuit board, thereby controlling the electrical type switch. The second dial knob is rotatably installed in the front side of the circuit board, thereby operating the mechanical type switch. The connection member transfers an operating force of the second dial knob to the mechanical type switch.
