PORTABLE REFRIGERATOR WITH FUEL CELL SYSTEM AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A portable refrigerator using a fuel cell and an operation method thereof are provided to offer a compact portable refrigerator which is easy to carry by using a fuel cell as an energy source for the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A portable refrigerator using a fuel cell comprises a case, a fuel cell stack(140), a gas tank, a cooling fan(142), a thermoelectric cooling unit(150), a battery, and a controlling unit. The case comprises a storage. The fuel cell stack is installed inside the case. The gas tank stores gas required for an operation of the fuel cell stack. The cooling fan cools the fuel cell stack. The thermoelectric cooling unit is installed inside of the case, thereby cooling the storage. The battery is charged by the fuel cell stack and supplies power to the thermoelectric cooling unit. The controlling unit controls operations of the fuel cell stack and thermoelectric cooling unit.
