The pallet container (1) comprises a bottom (4) placed on a pallet (2) with feet or wheels (3) and having upright side walls (7, 9) and a covering lid part (5). Inside the pallet container is a plate unit (11) movable in a vertical direction, which by means of springs or hydraulic force (12, 13) exerts a pressure force directed downwards the bottom for maintaining the compression of waste material fed in from the small containers coming from the source sorter. At least one feed-in unit is positioned in the side wall unit in the area of the bottom. This unit allows passage to a small container for specific waste material types and issues into the pallet container between the bottom and the plate unit by means of which the waste quantity coming from the small container is pressed by a piston arrangement into the pallet container under simultaneous counter pressure from above by the plate unit. |
