Disclosed is a pharmaceutical tablet formulation comprising per unit dosage form the following ingredients: (a) a compound as an active ingredient, wherein the compound is (s)-1-[(3-hydroxy-1-adamantyl)amino]acetyl-2-cyanopyrrolidine (vildagliptin) or the corresponding amount of any of its salts; and (b) hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and one or more fillers.
