PURPOSE: A passive image sensor and an operating method thereof are provided to eliminate a driver transistor, thereby preventing reduction of a unit pixel output signal. CONSTITUTION: First and second photoelectric converting units(311,321) accumulates charges by receiving light. First and second transmission units(313,323) transmit the charges accumulated in the first and second photoelectric converting units to an output unit(340). The output unit amplifies the charges. A charge discharging unit(330) includes first and second charge discharging switching devices. |
