PURPOSE: Contactless detecting system and method using a magnetic reluctance sensor are provided to enhance the reliability of measurement since the detecting positions of a magnetic reluctance sensor and a subject are maintained quantitively constantly. CONSTITUTION: A detecting system using a magnetic reluctance sensor comprises a subject fixing unit, a detector(200), a system control unit(300), and a transfer module. The subject fixing unit comprises a subject(121) coupled to a magnetic particle and a reference magnetism band(122) consisting of a pure magnetic particle. The detector senses magnetic signals generated by application of magnetic field to the subject fixing unit with a magnetic reluctance sensor(130), divides the signals into magnetic components and analyzes the components. The system control unit compares the reference magnetism signal for the pure magnetic particle generated from the detector with the detected magnetic signal for the subject.
