PURPOSE: An underwater sludge pump, having a sludge settle preventing function, and a sludge treating method using the same are provided to enable a user to install and remove a tank storing sludge. CONSTITUTION: An underwater sludge pump comprises a pumping unit(110), an exhaust pipe(130), a mixer(120) and a coupling frame(150). The pumping unit inhales sludge. The exhaust pipe is combined in the pumping unit. The exhaust pipe discharges the sludge, inhaled by the pumping unit, to outside. The mixer is combined in one side the pumping unit. The coupling frame unites the mixer to one side of the pumping unit.
