The device i.e. photovoltaic panel (1), has a photovoltaic module (2) provided in an upper surface, and an electrical connector (3) provided in a lower surface. The connector is connected to a positive cable (4) and a negative cable (5). A ground wire (6) is connected to the photovoltaic module. The photovoltaic module is provided with a metal frame (7). The ground wire has a portion extending from a free end of the positive cable until a free end of the negative cable. The ground wire has a junction (11) arranged at the level of the portion.
