The method involves manufacturing a base body (2) with a sidewall (3) that partially delimits an inner space of the base body. A bottom element is introduced in the inner space of the base body. The bottom element is assembled with a portion of the sidewall on a face rotated toward an inner space of a container i.e. bowl (1). A bottom region of the base body is separated. A portion of upper face located opposite the bottom region before the separation and/or a portion of a lower face of the bottom element rotated toward the bottom region after the separation are assembled with the sidewall. An independent claim is also included for a cooking appliance, comprising a container.
