PURPOSE: An electronic apparatus and external panel therefor are provided to secure waterproofing property by attaching a water proof sheet between a protection member and a surface member. CONSTITUTION: A protection member(111) is arranged on a display unit(11). The protection member protects the display unit. A surface member(112) is arranged on the protection member and the same side as the protection member. The waterproof sheet is attached between the protection member and the surface member. A waterproof sheet(113) covers a gap between the protection member and a surface member.
