PURPOSE: An ophthalmometer is provided to easily control the movement of an ophthalmometer by restricting a frictional force between an ophthalometer body and a base. CONSTITUTION: An ophthalmometer body(200) moves in an X-Y direction. A vertical movement member(411) is installed in the ophthalmometer body to vertically move. A guide member(422) guides the movement of the vertical movement member. A lever(430) vertically moves the vertical movement member by rotating a driving member. An elastic member is installed between the base and the ophthalmometer body and provides elastic force. A display unit displays the intensity of a frictional force according to the rotation of the lever.
