ARYL SULFONAMIDE AMINE COMPOUNDS AND THEIR USE AS 5-HT6 LIGANDS

Disclosed is an aryl sulphonamide amine compound of formula (I) wherein the substituents are as disclosed. Examples of compounds of formula (I) are: N-[4-Chloro-3-(1-methylpiperidin-4-ylamino) phenyl] benzenesulfonamide; 4-Fluoro-N-[4-Chloro-3-(1-methylpiperidin-4-ylamino) phenyl] benzenesulfonamide and 4-Methyl-N-[4-Chloro-3-(1-methylpiperidin-4-ylamino) phenyl] benzenesulfonamide. Also disclosed is a process of preparing a compound of formula(I), a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula (I) and the use of a compound of formula (I) in the manufacture of a medicament for treating diseases related to the serotonin 5-HT6 receptor.
