PURPOSE: A method for providing local services to a terminal is provided to supply local services to a plurality of terminals by distributing traffics which are focused on a central server. CONSTITUTION: An information request part requests information of a local service(LS) information server to a dynamic host configuration protocol(DHCP) server through a broadband wireless network. An information receiving part receives the information of the LS information server from the DHCP server(520). The information request part requests the LS information of a terminal located region to the LS information server through the Internet(530). The information receiving part receives the requested LS information from the LS information server through the Internet(540).
