PURPOSE: An image forming device and a method for converting a virtual memory address into a physical memory address are provided to improve delay generated in a process that a virtual memory address is converted into a physical memory address. CONSTITUTION: A function unit(140) performs function of an image forming apparatus. A memory(120) stores data which is used for the image forming apparatus. A controller(150) controls the function unit in order to perform the function of the image forming apparatus. An IP core of the controller controls one or more functions. An address converting unit converts a virtual memory address into a physical memory address.
