<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of synthesizing nanoparticles at a high speed by a high temperature field in plasma and rapid cooling with a liquid around a reaction field. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing nanoparticles includes installing, in a liquid, a tip part 1a of an electrode 1 made of a metal which is a raw material of the nanoparticles, connecting a high frequency power source 5 to the other end side of the electrode 1, installing a counter electrode 11 having a surface area larger than the cross-sectional area of the tip part of the electrode 1 against the tip part 1a of the electrode 1, and feeding high frequency to the electrode 1 from the high frequency power source 5 to generate plasma in the liquid to produce the nanoparticles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
