<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a cured coat of siloxane resin composition which can contribute to forming a baked cured coat, using a siloxane resin composition, the baked cured coat being with advantages such as excellent transparency, high scratch mark hardness, high insulation characteristics, a low dielectric factor, superb flatness, no weight loss of coat during baking, generation of no cracks when coat thickness is great, no coat peeling in substrate interface and superb adhesion. <P>SOLUTION: The procedures are as follows: First, the siloxane resin composition containing a silanol group or an alkoxysilyl group, is applied to a base material, then is subjected to a prebaking treatment, and treated with an alkali aqueous liquid. After that, the siloxane resin composition is rinsed and baked.
