<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel, which comprises first driving means to drive a first and a second optical members and second driving means to drive the first optical member, capable of accurately detecting a reset position of the first optical member. <P>SOLUTION: A lens barrel comprises: a first optical member (a first lens group 10 and a second lens group 20) which moves along an optical axis A; a second optical member (a prism 5) which moves along an optical axis B; an SW motor 51 to drive the first optical member and the second optical member; a TW motor 53 to drive the first optical member; and control means to enable the TW motor 53 to drive the first optical member while the SW motor 51 is driving the first and the second optical members.
