<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball type constant velocity joint that enables cost reduction to be embodied by skipping processing of a bottom surface of an outer ring, while limiting a joint angle. <P>SOLUTION: The ball type constant velocity joint 300 has a locking member 370 installed in a holder 350 and locked on a cupped open end surface of the outer ring 20 when a joint angle reaches a predetermined angle θ. The locking member 370 is made of material such as metal, resin, rubber, etc. and formed in an annular shape. A cross-sectional shape of the locking member 370 obtained by cutting the locking member 370 in a radial direction has a circular shape, and an inner diameter of the locking member 370 is made slightly smaller than a diameter of the groove bottom of an annular groove 354 formed in the holder 350. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
