<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a cylindrical piston valve which does not protrude (retreats when viewed from the combustion chamber) into a combustion chamber, though, in a conventional piston valve, the form of a combustion chamber and the form of a piston are determined in consideration of the amount of lift of the valve. <P>SOLUTION: By making the cylindrical piston valve which does not protrude (retreats when viewed from the combustion chamber) into the combustion chamber, the form of the combustion chamber and the piston, which does not need the consideration of the amount of lift of the valve, can be achieved, consequently the effect is large when, especially, an engine is made to have a smaller combustion chamber with respect to displacement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
