<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, in casting or boat fishing, after the fishing device is casted, if the fishing rod is hung on a stand or gunwale waiting for a bite, and if the hook catches a bigger fish beyond expectation or a large-sized target fish, the expensive fishing rod with a reel hung on the stand or gunwale is sometimes drawn underwater and lost. <P>SOLUTION: A pressing body which has a roller and a recessed part fitted to the roller and a pressing means comes into contact with the adjacent part in front of a reel (a drum reel or a spinning reel) attached to a fishing rod. After the fishing device is casted, the fishing line from the spool of the reel is in the condition of being freely released. The fishing line from the reel is inserted to and held by the contact surface between the roller and the pressing body, and the fishing rod is hung on a stand or gunwale waiting for a bite. In that case, even if a big fish beyond expectation is caught, only the fishing line with the fishing device inserted to the contact surface slides or is separated and released, and the fishing rod with a reel is not drawn underwater and not lost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
