<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording method and device capable of suppressing increase of the number of files to control as much as possible even when increasing recording frequency of videos. <P>SOLUTION: According to BDMV-s specifications, a video recording device produces files according to a format based on the BDMV-s specifications defined to arrange a BDMV directory under a root directory and also to arrange each of directories of PLAYLIST, CLIPINFO, and STREAM under the BDMV directory, and records the files on a recording medium. The video recording device produces a PlayItem for every end of video scene to acquire and makes the format so that a plurality of PlayItem(s) are included within one PlayList data, and then records video according to the format on the recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
