<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the satisfaction of a user by providing a paper money dispenser 1 which can change the posture of a money payment/reception mechanism 20 for money payment/reception and for money delivery/accumulation, and which prevents a user from feeling any fear in a case of paying paper money, and a control method of the paper money dispenser 1. <P>SOLUTION: The paper money dispenser 1 equipped with a money payment/reception port 21 of paper money, and configured to perform the payment of paper money to the money payment/reception port 21 and the reception of paper money from the money payment/reception port 21 includes: a money payment/reception port mechanism 20 installed at the inside of the device of the money payment/reception port 21 for storing the paper money; and a money payment/reception port mechanism rotary motor 222 for changing the money payment/reception port mechanism 20 to a money payment/reception attitude for performing the payment/reception of the paper money over the money payment/reception port 21 for a user and a delivery/accumulation attitude for performing the delivery/accumulation of the paper money with respect to the inside of the device.
