Provided is an image processing method wherein an image processing device executes: a step for adjusting horizontal disparities of a respective plurality of stereoscopic image frames of a stereoscopic video in accordance with the output condition of the stereoscopic video; a step for setting right and left reference boundaries shared by each of the stereoscopic image frames on the basis of the horizontal widths of right and left non-output areas wherein image information of right and left viewpoint images corresponding to each of the stereoscopic image frames of which disparities are adjusted satisfies a predetermined standard, among right and left non-output areas located on the right and left edges of a predetermined output plane; a step for complementing image information of right and left complement target areas, in each stereoscopic image frame, by respectively applying image information of the right and left complement target areas and adjacent areas adjacent thereto to the right and left complement target areas, with respect to the right and left complement target areas which are non-output areas located closer to the center side of the output plane than the right and left reference boundaries; and a step for outputting each stereoscopic image frame complemented with the image information in accordance with the adjusted disparity.
