An adjustable passenger seat having a seat recline mechanism (10) including a seat base (16) having first and second non-intersecting seat path guide slots (20, 22) for guiding the travel of a translation guide assembly (24) interconnected to a linear translating seat pan drive rail (18) through the seat pan (14) such that translational movement of the drive rail (18) with respect to the seat base (16) causes movement of the seat pan (14) and the seat back (12) between their upright and flat seating positions. |
