<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle braking device that can suitably change kinetic energy of a vehicle into electric energy while changing braking power by regenerative braking according to situations. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle braking device 1 is equipped in a hybrid vehicle HV which has a transmission 4a which can change a speed reduction ratio of a traveling motor 3, and performs brake assist control based on target braking power set according to an operating amount of a brake pedal. The vehicle braking device 1 includes: a regenerative brake which generates regenerative braking power by performing regenerative control of the traveling motor 3; and a hydraulic brake which generates friction braking power in a braking operation part Br which operates by hydraulic pressure, and when a start condition of brake assist control is satisfied, stops change of the speed reduction ratio after setting the speed reduction ratio so as to decline the regenerative braking power, and generates the target braking power with the regenerative braking power and the friction braking power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
